Can I bring a plus one?
Our wedding day is invitation only. Only the guests who are named on your invitation may attend. We'd love to have everyone, but we're working within our numbers.
Can I bring my kids?
The wedding day itself is adults-only (with the exception of babes still on the boob obviously, and immediate family), but kids are absolutely welcome at all the other events throughout the week before and after. We want our wedding day to be a chance for everyone to let their hair down without worrying about bedtimes and meltdowns. Only the names on your invitation are invited to the wedding ceremony and reception.
What time should I arrive?
TBC at the moment.
This will depend on the ceremony time which has not been set yet. If you really need a time right now, aim for 1:30pm at the absolute latest.
How do I RSVP?
Head to the RSVP page and follow the prompts there. It's all very straightforward, we promise. No carrier pigeons or smoke signals required. Bonus points and much love to those we do not have to chase. And yes, we kindly ask everyone to RSVP.
What is the dress code?
Bold formal, please! Think your best wedding attire. Bonus points for bow ties and bright, bold coloured dresses. This is a joyous affair so just have fun with it.
What is the weather going to be like?
While we are all manifesting a gloriously sunny day without rain, this is Ireland we’re talking about here, or as Liv likes to call it, ‘The Land of the Scattered Shower’.
Realistically speaking, and according to Le Googlé, August high temperatures average 18-19°C, with occasionally days in the low 20s. Temperatures though can drop down towards 11-13°C. So for all you Aussies, bring a jacket.
Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?
This is completely weather dependent, and let's be honest, in Ireland that's basically a coin flip. For those wearing heels, Liv would always recommend a thicker heel to combat all terrains. Nobody wants to spend the ceremony or drinks reception slowly sinking into the lawn like a tent peg.
Where should I stay?
Best to check out the Accommodation page, which has all this information neatly laid out for you. We've listed options at different price points and distances from the venue, some may even include a shuttle bus, so there should be something for everyone whether you're after luxury or just a clean bed.
Where can I park?
You can park onsite. If you are driving to the venue please arrive at least 30minutes before the ceremony as you must drive straight in front of the manor house to reach the car park. No one wants to be that late car driving through everyone. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!
For those staying locally in Trim, we’re organising a shuttle bus to transport gues ts back and forth to Bellinter House from Knightsbrook Hotel, which means you can enjoy the bar without worrying about driving. Watch this space for updates.
What should I see/do while I’m here?
Head to the Explore page for some travel inspiration. We’ll keep adding to it over time so watch this space. Whether you're here for a few days or a full week, we've got you covered.
Can we see you before the wedding?
Absolutely, we'd love to see everyone! Especially those of you travelling from far, far away (or those who live close by). Just keep in mind the lead-up will be a bit manic, so give us as much notice as possible and we'll make something work. We're also hoping to have a couple of meet ups planned the week of the wedding. Check out the Events page for the full schedule.
